Plot Summary
A spirit named Iblis (played by Kim Woo-bin) awakens after a thousand years of slumber. He hasn’t fulfilled anyone’s wishes for a long time, until he meets a human girl named Ki Ja-eun (played by Bae Suzy). Ki Ja-eun is naturally afflicted with antisocial personality disorder and has been living under the strict rules set by her grandmother, repeating monotonous daily routines day after day. She struggles to survive and faces complex emotional problems. When Ki Ja-eun meets Iblis, their lives are completely changed. Iblis has been searching for the reincarnation of Ki Ja-eun’s soul, eager to take revenge on her because, in her past life, she was the one who caused Iblis to be imprisoned in a magic lamp for a thousand years.
